Adopt Or Volunteer With Freedom Frenchie Rescue!
Percy came to our rescue from Palmdale shelter. Can you believe his name was Fleasy E!!! So inappropriate... He came to us with kennel cough that turned into pneumonia and he had a drain tube in his cheek from a previous surgery that seems like he was attacked (we do not know exactly what happened). Percy has taken sometime to heal longer then others brought in the same time. He has been on antibiotics and is clearing up feeling much better and the fur on his cheek is finally growing back!
Foster Mom Reports:
Percy's personality is shining through! He is spectacular, he is playing with toys more and loves to carry them around in his mouth, straight cuddle love bug extraordinaire with a side of independence! Percy is learning to trust humans and that is big steps for him!

Mo continued to see the breed she loved & adored on Facebook in shelters and in need of help. She knew living so close, she couldn't stand by and not try and help. With her past of being denied by other rescues, she dove in with drive and determination and found many in the community who were gracious and got hands-on training knowledge both with rescue/adoption. This brought her love for the breed and the over population with medical needs to life. She was destined to have Freedom Frenchie Rescue: giving french bulldogs a second chance no matter what the situation is, and not to be overlooked like she was. She knew she could provide the difference alongside her two children helping along the way, giving everyone a chance to love this beloved breed.

Sponsor Dog of the Month: Pepe
Meet Pepe — our incredibly sweet, mostly blind, and endlessly brave boy who has stolen all of our hearts! This 25-pound lovebug came to us from a shelter in Southern California after we were tagged in post after post pleading for help. He was found as a stray over heating in the streets of LA. Thanks to our brand-new New Hope Partnership in LA, we were able to put a hold on him and bring him into the Freedom Frenchie Rescue family. Pepe is scheduled for a life-changing TECA (Total Ear Canal Ablation) surgery on both ears at the end of June, and he’ll also be neutered while under. His surgery is estimated at $4,500 — a hefty cost, but one we know is worth every penny for a second chance at a pain-free life. Yes we have received some donations when we pulled him, it does not even come close
A Note from Mo:
“I have never met such a docile male Frenchie — besides our Eddie — in my life. Pepe’s heart is bigger than most humans I’ve met. Despite being mostly blind, he fearlessly navigates the world around him, using that familiar high-stepping blind walk to help him get his bearings. He’s quirky, playful, and melts into you for the best naps and snuggles. He’s got that ‘something special’ and I just know he’s going to absolutely thrive in his forever home.”
Pepe’s journey isn’t over yet, and we need your help! If you’d like to be his angel sponsor or donate toward his medical care, please reach out for our vet’s contact info. Every dollar brings us one step closer to getting this boy the relief and healing he deserves.
