Adopt Or Volunteer With Freedom Frenchie Rescue!
Adopt Or Volunteer With Freedom Frenchie Rescue!
Our rescue is based out of Arizona, and we are here to educate and provide French Bulldogs an easy transition into loving homes. FFR is a foster based rescue, and we rely on volunteers to open up their homes to help guide our rescues into their net chapter of life. We network with shelters, owner surrenders, and breeder releases as needed. We rely completely on donations, fundraising, and adoption donations. As we have to provide our volunteers with medical needs, supplies, and transporting for our intakes. We are focused on vetting, rehabilitation, and adoption of dogs we are able to take into our rescue. As we are located in Arizona, we do adopt nationwide as long as adopters are willing to provide transportation. We can also help with that as we have transport partners. Please always keep in mind rescue work is not easy, we do not get healthy dogs very often if you are going to apply to foster or adopt; patience, love and consistency are key.
If you are surrendering, please apply below with as much information as possible. We will need complete medical, personality, aggression, and any other history. (link added soon) Depending on our intake at the time and available foster's we will do our best to help, it will not be immediately. We also charge a $150 donation fee upon surrendering, as we have to provide supplies and basic vetting. With the donation fee you will receive a tax receipt.
Only apply for dogs available on our site under the adopt tab. Do not send us a message about a rescue you are interested in, we are very busy in rescue and do not have time to respond. Everything about them is in their profile. Application must be submitted before anything else happens. Adoption guidelines are below.
We are a foster a based rescues are located in AZ but we do adopt out of state. We can help arrange transport with our preferred transporter Pawsitively Precious Cargo, if you are unable to pick up. We do not let our rescue travel with other transports, and only the adopter can pick up. Please see out of state adoption process below.
We will hold for up to one week with a $100.00 nonrefundable deposit that will apply to your adoption fee.
Stay tuned to our social media and our adoption page for new rescues available for adoption. Please do not ask us when our rescues will be available as we do not know as we are medically treating them.
Our adoption fees are what they are because we take in several medical dogs. The average costs of basic vetting is $535.00. That consists of spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and initial visit, with zero complications. This does not include any medications or supplies which typically happen to 80% of our rescues when they come in.
Adoption Process
Only rescues listed under the Adopt tab on our website are available for adoption.
Each rescues profile contains all the information we currently have about them. We strive to be as transparent as possible.
Please do not send messages, emails, or DMs about not listed or listed under the Adopt tab, as we are unable to respond to inquiries about unavailable rescues.
2. Submit an Application
An application must be completed before any further steps, such as answering questions, arranging meet and greets, or providing additional information. We do not have time or energy without an application be submitted, as this takes us away from other tasks.
Be sure to fill out the application for the specific rescue you are interested in. There is a $10.00 application fee that is donated towards our rescues vetting and supplies.
Once your application is submitted, a team member will contact you for an interview if your application meets our requirements.
The interview allows us to ensure the rescue is a good match for your home and lifestyle. If you are out of state, we will be conducting a virtual interview.
If the interview goes well, we will coordinate a meet and greet with the rescue. If you are out of state, we will set up a virtual meet and greet with foster the rescue is in care with.
Since we are foster based, our rescues are cared for in individual foster homes rather than a central location. The meet and greet location will be arranged according to what fits the fosters schedule.
After the meet and greet, we ask potential adopters to take 24 hours to consider their decision, as adopting a rescue is a significant commitment.
Please note that there may be another meet and greet happening during this 24-hour period.
Once the 24-hour period is over, we will contact you to confirm your decision.
If you choose to proceed, the adoption contract will be signed, and all medical records will be emailed to you.
The adoption donation fee must be paid immediately upon finalizing the adoption and before arranging pick up of the rescue.
Holding Policy
In-State Adoptions: To hold a dog longer than 24 hours, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit will go toward the adoption donation fee.
Out-of-State Adoptions:
The total adoption donation fee must be paid once committed to rescue and contract is signed. If that is not met the contract is void and the rescue is available for the next potential adopter.
If transport is needed, we exclusively use our preferred transporter, Pawsitively Precious Cargo, LLC. They are the only person besides the adopter that is allowed to pick-up/handle our rescues. The full adoption donation fee must be paid within 24 hours of signing contract, as our transporter is on a schedule, and she always goes out of her way for us. Full payment of transport costs will be paid directly to her. She will contact you to make arrangements of scheduling and pricing.
Additional Notes:
Our team is dedicated to ensuring the best outcomes for both the rescue and adopters. By following these guidelines, you help us provide a smooth and efficient process. Please keep in mind we are not here for your feelings we are strictly here to ensure our rescues are placed in the most consistent, loving, and patient home. They have been through unimaginable experiences, and we are here for them only.
Thank you for understanding that our time is focused on the care of our rescues and facilitating successful adoptions. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend. If you are ready to adopt, visit our Adopt tab to view available rescues and begin the process.
